AORN AWARDS deadline is fast approaching!

Celebrate Excellence in Perioperative Nursing!  

Nominations are now open for AORN’s Individual Achievement Awards — honoring perioperative nurses who advance practice, education, leadership, and innovation.

 Award categories include:

• Excellence in Perioperative Nursing Award – AORN’s highest honor.

• Barba Edwards Innovation Award – recognizing change agents driving innovation.

• Edith Dee Hall Rising Star Award – for nurses with less than five years in periop practice.

• Jerry G. Peers Distinguished Service Award – honoring outstanding service to AORN.

• Outstanding Achievement in Mentorship Awards – for leadership and periop mentorship.

• Outstanding Achievement in Perioperative Academic Education Award – recognizing excellence in teaching future periop nurses.

Deadline for nominations: September 30, 2025

 Awards will be presented at AORN Global Surgical Conference & Expo 2026 in New Orleans!
