1. Explain the pathophysiology of malignant hyperthermia (MH) by summarizing the genetic and cellular mechanisms involved in skeletal muscle hypermetabolism. |

2. Differentiate early and late signs and symptoms of MH by listing at least three examples of each. |

3. Recall the MH treatment recommendations outlined in the Malignant Hyperthermia Association of the United States (MHAUS) resources during the discussion. |
