I want to extend my gratitude to our educational committee members who have volunteered their time and efforts to present outstanding webinars on a monthly basis this last year. Unfortunately, our educational offering for September 26 was unable to air this month due to the cell tower malfunction just at the moment of transmission. Cecil has had over 30 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse and 12 years’ experience as a Perioperative CNS, since 2012. He has been providing primary care and case management in a hospital-based HIV/AIDS and infectious disease clinic. In addition, his expertise includes 25 years’ experience in perioperative nursing functioning in various staff, leadership, educator and management roles. 2006 Recipient of AORN'S award for outstanding achievement in perioperative nursing education.
This month we are honored to have Julie Cahn, DNP, RN, CNOR, RN-BC, ACNS-BC, CNS-CP presenting on one of her areas of expertise, “Sterile Technique.” Julie’s lecture is scheduled for October 24 at 7:00pm CT.

Julie has been a perioperative nurse for 15 years. Since 2017 she has served as a Perioperative Practice Specialist at AORN Headquarters in Denver, CO.
